REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Computer Engineering / Information Technology or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in document control in Oil & Gas industry, including at least 10 years of Sharecat information system administration experience for large-scale engineering and construction projects with major Oil & Gas operators and EPCs.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in construction document control and fabrication data coordination experience.
  • Above 15 years of experience supporting regional multidisciplinary teams in areas of document management, project standards compliance, and cross-departmental liaison with engineering, procurement, and construction stakeholders.
  • Above 10 years of involvement in large-scale Oil and Gas / Petrochemical projects of up to USD 3.6 billion project value.
  • Expert knowledge of engineering documents and materials management, EPC project workflows, Master Spool Data Sheets preparation and distribution, welding plan reporting, drawing registers update, drawing transmittal and document filing system management.
  • Highly proficient in Information Management systems including Sharecat, Microsoft Office suite and other related software.
  • Highly proficient in document management systems including SharePoint and EDMS platforms.
  • Excellent communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and support Sharecat system, user accounts, access, and project-specific configurations.
  • Provide document control and engineering teams assistance to operate system for material and equipment data management.
  • Coordinate with the vendors and contractors for timely receipt of submission and approval of data and information.
  • Periodically inspect data quality, troubleshoot system issues, and coordinate with Sharecat support when necessary.
  • Offer end-user training on the platform and produce user guides or training documentation as required.
  • Monitor system performance, maintain data standards compliance, and implement improvements where necessary.
  • Participate in project kickoff meetings to align system usage with project requirements.
  • Assist with data migration, integration, and reporting as required.
  • Set up system templates, metadata models, and workflows to meet project-specific needs.
  • Implement data security and backup procedures and regularly test them.
  • Collaborate with IT departments to ensure proper integration with other enterprise systems e.g. ERP, EDMS, or asset management software.
  • Track user feedback and system enhancement requests and coordinate with Sharecat developers for implementation.
