Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Senior Import & Export Officer to join our team in Shenzhen, China. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of our international import and export operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and optimizing our global supply chain. As a senior-level professional, you will manage complex logistics operations, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and drive efficiency across our trade operations in this dynamic international business hub. Manage end-to-end import and export documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin Ensure full compliance with Chinese customs regulations, international trade laws, and company policies Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to facilitate timely shipments Analyze and optimize shipping routes, carriers, and logistics costs to improve operational efficiency Monitor and track shipments throughout the supply chain, providing regular updates to internal stakeholders Prepare and maintain detailed records of all import/export transactions for audit and compliance purposes Resolve customs issues, delays, and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner Negotiate terms with vendors, carriers, and service providers to achieve cost savings Analyze trade data and generate reports on import/export performance and trends Train and mentor junior staff on import/export procedures and best practices Stay current with changes in international trade regulations and customs requirements Collaborate with procurement, sales, and finance teams to support business objectives Qualifications Minimum 5 years of professional experience in import/export operations or international trade Comprehensive knowledge of customs regulations, tariff classifications, and HS codes Proficiency with import/export documentation and procedures Strong understanding of Chinese customs processes and Shenzhen trade regulations Experience with logistics management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and prepare detailed reports Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Mandarin Chinese proficiency is preferred Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities Experience managing vendor and carrier relationships Knowledge of international trade agreements and compliance requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail Additional Information 根据公平就业机会准则,将对您的所有信息进行保密。 WD thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
