Senior Imports Planner Your Impact Reporting to the Planning Manager - Materials, Distribution & Inventory, the Senior Imports Planner is a newly created role responsible for optimising the planning, logistics and cost performance of Asahi's imported raw materials and finished goods portfolio. This role will lead the development of import planning strategies that balance service, inventory and cost outcomes while ensuring efficient movement of imported products through the supply chain. Working closely with Planning, Procurement, International Logistics and external partners, you will identify opportunities to improve import models, reduce landed costs and enhance overall supply chain performance. You will also play a critical role in managing the planning and supply of key imported products, including strategic partnership brands, ensuring strong collaboration across internal and external stakeholders. Key Accountabilities * Own the planning strategy for imported raw materials and finished goods across the Australian business * Analyse import, shipping, storage and distribution costs to identify opportunities for optimisation and cost reduction * Partner closely with Logistics Procurement to evaluate freight models, supplier performance and network efficiencies * Lead imported inventory planning activities to ensure optimal stock availability while balancing working capital outcomes * Manage and report on key import planning performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations * Support planning and supply management activities for imported partnership brands, ensuring alignment across stakeholders * Collaborate with Procurement, Logistics, Supply Planning and external suppliers to deliver efficient end-to-end import solutions * Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service, reduce complexity and improve supply chain performance * Contribute to business planning processes and support strategic supply chain projects as required About You * Degree qualified in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related discipline * Previous experience within supply chain planning, logistics, procurement or inventory management within a complex FMCG environment * Strong understanding of international logistics, import planning and inventory management principles * Highly analytical with the ability to interpret data and identify commercial opportunities * Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across multiple functions * Commercially minded with an understanding of landed cost, freight optimisation and supply chain trade-offs * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities * Experience working with ERP and planning systems is advantageous Why Asahi Beverages?
