Your key responsibilities Delivery of high-quality tax services that meet client expectations; Supporting the planning, executing and delivering in tax engagements; Working effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress; Assisting in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties; Thoroughly analyzing, processing and structuring information (data); Preparing practical, professional, competent, effective and creative solutions to client’s situation; arriving at appropriate engagement conclusions, recommendations and implementation plans; Maintaining an educational program to continually develop personal skills of all staff Making quality decisions in the more complex, judgmental areas after consulting with others; Preparing for meetings with target management teams; Demonstrable experience in delivering quality outputs to clients; Building strong internal relationships within EY Tax and across other services as well as with client personnel. Skills and attributes for success A bachelor's and/or master’s degree with strong academic credentials in accounting, business, finance, taxation or any related essential fields; Tax background, good knowledge of financial accounting and tax legislation; Ideally, at least two years of experience as Senior Tax specialist or similar position, overall minimum four years of experience in tax consulting or accounting; Proficiency in MS Office and ERP programs; Efficient review and control of accounting and tax deliverables maintained therein; Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Azerbaijani; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including ability to work in teams; Organizational skills, analytical ability and detail focused; Holding professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA or equivalent qualification) would an advantage; What we look for We are looking for candidates who are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, as they will be responsible for ensuring compliance with complex regulations.
