Description:
Who we are looking for
In this role, you will work with State Street teams from around the globe to mainly support premier investment management clients of Italian market. You will have immediate responsibility to oversee all day-to-day accounting responsibilities in a fast-paced, flexible environment.

You will be part of an enthusiastic team dealing with corporate actions and will work collaboratively with your team members to ensure accuracy and timeliness of income processing.
What you will be responsible for
- Provide a flexibility by being well acquaint with two separate accounting systems (GP3 and AS400).
- Act as a resource within entire CA & Income Processing team to problem-solve for issues with clients, counterparties and other internal teams (NAV, Data Management, IT Support).
- Effectively identify potential issues that might work against the team and take early corrective actions.
- Engage in building an effective working relationship with internal primary service recipients (State Street Italy).
- Deputize Senior Associate when needed.
- Oversee and train new hires in AS400 and GP3 environments.
- Prepare, complete, and review Error Write-Ups.
- Consult with peers to optimize the operating model aimed at continuous improvement and transformation.
- Participate in any cross-department’s initiatives aimed at Improving Employee Engagement.
What we value
- Exposure to various key financial products, (Equities, Bonds, Fixed Income and various corporate actions)
- Strong knowledge of Excel and other tools used in the team (MyStateStreet, MCH, IMT, PLM).
- Highly self-driven sense of motivation.
- Ability to multi-task and succeed in a results oriented, high pressure environment with an understanding of the need for 100% accuracy.
- Naturally curious and passionate.
- Strong verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Degree in Economics.
- Intermediate level of experience on Bloomberg.
- Basic knowledge of VBA
Additional requirements
- 2-3 days a week in the office to maintain high standard of the work culture.
