Senior Industrial Designer
Greensboro, NC | Contract | 12+ Months
Pay Rate: Up to $520/hr (W2)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm (40 hrs/week)

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Industrial Designer for a new long-term project. The designer will create innovative interior and exterior product solutions that communicate a clear brand identity and meet project requirements.
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to take concepts from sketch through to production, while mentoring junior designers and contributing to the overall design direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Propose and develop design solutions aligned with project identity and requirements.
• Create 2D and 3D sketches, drawings, and visual assets to communicate ideas.
• Contribute to both interior and exterior design projects.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate across cross-functional groups to deliver impactful design solutions.
• Participate in full project lifecycle, from concept through production release.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial design experience (interior and exterior).
• Proficiency with Alias, Blender, Unreal, and KeyShot.
• Strong 2D/3D sketching and visualization skills.
• Portfolio required (include link or samples with application).
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience guiding and coaching junior designers.
• Ability to balance deep expertise with broad cross-functional knowledge.
• Strong ability to articulate design value and rationale in a technical/business context.

Additional Details

• Duration: 12+ months (potential to extend).
• Location: Onsite in Greensboro, NC (no remote).
• Overtime: Not expected.
• Work Authorization: Open to US Citizen, Green Card, OPT/EAD/F1, H1B, and TN Visa candidates.
• Security Clearance: None required.
