POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Senior Industrial Designer to join our dynamic team to maintain and develop, create functional and aesthetically pleasing products. You will design and develop brand and retailer specific displays and concepts for an array of brands on all retail channels. You’ll drive the project from concept to reality. The ideal candidate will blend industrial design with creativity and with a flair for contemporary retail, merchandise strategy and shopper interaction.

• Conceptualize and design retail displays and fixtures that establish clear competitive brand differentiation.
• Model and render high quality 3-D environments (Sketch-up, Solidworks) showcasing fixture strengths, planogram support and shopper flow.
• Prepare design control drawings – dimensional mechanical, BOMs, and material specs for engineering and vendor bid packages.
• Collaborate with other departments to in concept development.
• Provide basic technical support, troubleshoot issues, and escalate complex problems as needed.
• Build/ oversee mock-ups and functional prototypes to validate design concepts, ergonomics, and functionality.
• Participate in research activities and integrate findings into the ideation process.
• Explore and implement new trends in colour and materials to enhance product aesthetics, user appeal, and brand identity.
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies while maintaining a positive brand image for the company.
