We are seeking a Senior Industrial Designer to join our dynamic design team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our next-generation Scanners, Wearables, and Accessories. As part of our Design Team, you will bridge the gap between Product Management and Hardware Engineering to deliver user-centered solutions.

At ProGlove, we design hardware and software by turning clear customer needs from the shopfloor into impactful products. This role will challenge you to innovate while ensuring design integrity and user-focused outcomes throughout the product development process.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial design or a related field.
  • 4–5+ years of experience in industrial design, catering to both junior and senior-level professionals. In-house design experience preferred, or agency experience with extensive end-user interaction.
  • Experience in hardware product design with a strong UX focus.
  • Ability to conduct user interviews, lead testing, and present confidently to customers in both English and German.
  • Proficiency in 2D sketching and 3D modeling (SolidWorks preferred).
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite and rapid prototyping techniques.
  • Excellent storytelling and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across global teams and work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities with a solid understanding of the product development process.
    Additional Information
Responsibilities
  • Bring ideas to life through sketches, mockups, and 3D models- from early-stage prototypes to fully realized products.
  • Develop highly functional tools for the worker, with a deep understanding of usability, form and user experience.
  • Conduct in-field testing across different development phases, using feedback from early prototypes to the final product to inform design improvements.
  • Collaborate with product management to explore new product opportunities, define requirements, and ensure design intent and user experiences are maintained.
  • Act as the voice of the user throughout the design process, ensuring the most critical user problems are addressed in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage CMF and injection molding standards to create visually compelling products aligned with branding.
  • Leverage your understanding of manufacturing processes to design products that balance creativity and production constraints.
