Description
Introduce and advance the Lean culture, principles and practices across the plant and work with local management to create and drive the Lean vision for the plant. Provide the space required to run the new product (either to create space or optimize an existing line to accommodate new stations as applicable) New equipment and production line layout Work together with EE and PD to obtain the cycle time needed on new equipment to fulfill capacity requirements Develop Standard work documents according to production requirements. Provide input for standard times for product costing Standard times measurements during development builds Purchase to set up the production line, Processing supplies are out of scope. Provide inputs for Equipment and machinery purchasing as well as participate in activities to assure Output/hr required Initiate and lead improvement projects (i.e. Lean, BPI, VIP) with the Production, Process Development, Develop and conduct Lean training programs for employees at all levels and departments. Create, maintain and refine a Lean toolkit that can include: 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, mistake proofing and line balancing. Deploy and support the use of corporate Lean tools and Metrics (Core Five Metrics, WCG, VSP, 5S, Lean Goals and Plans, etc.). Coordinate and lead engineering tasks, which may include: creating and updating standards, maintaining BOMS and routers and creating and approving change requests (as directed by site). Licenciature in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electronic, Biomedical, Chemistry, Industrial'Electrical Industrial Maintenance. Master's degree is a plus 6+ years of related work experience English Level: B2+ (80% - 89%). Desired knowledge: Process Manufacturing certification, Problem Solving, Regulatory Industry management, Regulatory affair, Networking, Process Validations, Statistical and Experimental Analysis, DOE, Solid Works, Tranfer Process, Minitab, Hands & Statistics, Tools (Statistics, Technical Manuals, Kaizen, Six Sigma)
