New Product Integration (NPI) Project Manager / Supply Chain Specialist
Location: Mississauga, Ontario (Onsite)

Contract Length: 6+ Months (with potential for extension)

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Our client, a leader in the aircraft manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced New Product Integration (NPI) Project Manager or Supply Chain Specialist to support and drive supplier readiness activities for new product introductions. This individual will play a critical role in coordinating cross-functional teams and suppliers through the industrialization phases to ensure successful ramp-up and production delivery.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in supply chain, project management, or manufacturing engineering, ideally in the aerospace or related high-complexity industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in industrialization and new product integration phases.
  • Strong understanding of supplier development, procurement, and production readiness processes.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive suppliers to deliver results.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • PMP certification or formal project management training is an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, ERP/MRP systems, and other project tracking tools.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Mississauga, Ontario.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • Experience with AS9100/ISO9001 standards and aerospace quality systems.
  • Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, FAI, and production ramp-up best practices.

    Pay: $60.00-$68.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Lead supplier readiness and industrialization activities related to new product introductions (NPI).
  • Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and milestones to meet internal and external deliverables.
  • Act as the main liaison between engineering, procurement, quality, manufacturing, and key suppliers.
  • Ensure suppliers are meeting contractual obligations, quality standards, and readiness requirements.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, escalating risks or roadblocks as needed.
  • Facilitate problem-solving and resolution of technical, supply chain, or production challenges.
  • Conduct regular supplier assessments, capability evaluations, and risk mitigation planning.
  • Drive accountability with suppliers to meet all delivery and performance goals.
  • Support the implementation of manufacturing processes and ensure tooling, equipment, and documentation are in place.
  • Foster continuous improvement and operational excellence within the supply base.
