Description

WE HAVE 3 URGENT ONSITE REQUIREMENTS - WE ARE LOOKING FOR THREE SENIOR INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERS.

The Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for analyzing and rebalancing assembly lines to optimize efficiency and productivity. This role involves implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives using Toyota Production System (TPS) principles to enhance manufacturing processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 8-12 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with a focus on assembly line rebalancing and CI initiatives.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of TPS and Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Proficiency in process analysis and improvement techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with CAD software (e.g., Solidedge, SolidWorks) is a plus.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., and occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Responsibilities
  • Assembly Line Rebalancing: Analyze current assembly line processes and workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Develop and implement strategies to rebalance lines for optimal performance.
  • Continuous Improvement (CI): Lead CI projects using TPS principles to drive process improvements, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
  • Process Development: Design and develop manufacturing processes for new products and modifications to existing products, ensuring alignment with zero-defect and low-cost objectives.
  • Standardized Work Methods: Develop and maintain standardized work methods and process documentation to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to manufacturing teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and alignment with business goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, quality, and production to prioritize and implement improvement projects.
