JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Informatica Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions using Informatica. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and availability while leveraging your expertise in various technologies to enhance our data processing capabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Informatica Developer with a strong understanding of ETL processes.
• Proficiency in Java is a plus for integration tasks.
• Familiarity with RESTful services and their implementation within ETL frameworks.
• Experience working with Azure Data Lake or similar cloud storage solutions.
• Strong SQL skills for database management and querying.
• Knowledge of Shell Scripting for process automation is highly desirable.
• Experience with Apache Hive is preferred for big data processing tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Design and develop ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud.
• Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Optimize existing ETL processes for performance improvements and scalability.
• Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data integrity.
• Work with RESTful APIs to integrate external data sources into the Informatica workflows.
• Utilize Azure Data Lake for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Develop scripts using Shell Scripting and Python for automation of ETL tasks.
• Engage in model training activities using Apache Hive to support machine learning initiatives.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
