BACKGROUND

City St. George’s Library service provides support to students, staff and the wider University community, with user support delivered both online and at our library help desks. Library Services hold Customer Service Excellence accreditation. We are seeking to recruit a Senior Information Assistant to join our User Services team in the Law Library, at our Clerkenwell campus.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Information Assistant role involves the supervision of the delivery of the enquiry and circulation services at the Law Library. Duties will include contributing to the delivery of services at help desks and online user support (including online chat, enquiries and booking systems), as well overseeing the upkeep and maintenance of high quality library study spaces. You will assist in the scheduling and assigning of duties at library service points, including supporting the work of the Evening and Weekend team. You will also participate in Operational and Project groups to support delivery of the library operational plan.
