The role Reporting in to the Head of Information Security, the Senior Information Security Consultant role is a 12-month contract opportunity. You will be responsible for providing a wide range of security advisory services to our business and technology stakeholders to assist them in developing solutions that address any current and emerging information security and compliance requirements. You will succeed in doing so by engaging with and educating business unit leaders, platform owners and technical teams in understanding their information security responsibilities and accountabilities with respect to their portfolios to establish appropriate practices around security engagement throughout the lifecycle of their projects and initiatives. The Senior Information Security Consultant is required to be highly skilled in information security, to be technically adept and experienced with security controls and technology, and to have business acumen that is pragmatic and applicable in a regulated environment. About you A knowledgeable and all-rounded Senior Information Security Consultant, you possess a minimum of 8+ years’ experience in information security particularly on project consulting. You ideally come from a background as an internal consultant for a nimble and fast-paced organisation within the financial services and/or insurance sector. Your technical background and foundation in security controls and technology with some understanding in security architecture and design, coupled with a strong sense of business acumen will enable you to operate in a pragmatic yet efficient manner in a highly regulated environment. Your ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders will enable you to influence and make recommendations to improve the overall security posture of their projects and initiatives.
