Pangea Professional Services is looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Information System Officer to join our team. In this key role, you will oversee the planning, development, implementation, and management of information systems that support the organization’s goals and operational needs. You will work closely with various departments to analyze their information needs and design systems that improve efficiency and effectiveness. Your expertise will ensure that our information systems are secure, reliable, and scalable to meet ongoing and future demands.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

1 to 5 years of experience in information systems management or a related field.

• Enhance, provide guidance, and report on the implementation of project management systems and data management within the project by:
• Identifying and defining the project management systems and data management requirements.
• Developing and reviewing a strategy for managing the comprehensive project management systems and data management function to ensure optimal performance in alignment with project and organizational requirements.
• Representing the project environment in relevant data and tools governance committees and executing standardization and optimization initiatives established by these committees.
• Creating and implementing a project strategy aimed at maintaining data integrity of project information throughout the project lifecycle.
• Defining, initiating, and reporting on the implementation of information systems and data management across functional teams to fulfill project objectives.
• Assessing, interpreting, and reporting on the status of data integrity, including issues, risks, and commitments from functional teams, and recommending enhancements.
• Evaluating, interpreting, and advising on information systems policies and protocols that influence the transfer of data and information between contractors and the project.
• Initiating, advising, and reporting on the implementation of data consistency measures to ensure efficient recording and dissemination of data, thereby granting project management teams access to pertinent information across programs and portfolios.
• Assessing and enhancing collaboration within the project and organization by centralizing data and improving data flow.
• Acting as a change agent by executing appropriate change management processes and ensuring stakeholder awareness during the implementation of project management systems.
• Reviewing and advising on the technical user acceptance testing for the implemented project management systems.
• Evaluating, interpreting, and reporting on the data integrity of project information received from functional teams within the delivery units, by:
• Defining and interpreting data integrity and system performance targets for the various project management systems.
• Reviewing, interpreting, and reporting on the data integrity of all project information from functional teams and within various systems.
• Assessing, advising, and improving the accuracy and availability of data from designated systems for purposes of data comparisons, reconciliations, modeling, and enhancements.
• Identifying and recommending necessary system integrations and interfaces to ensure that systems effectively support project requirements, providing business solutions to Group IT for technical investigations.
• Evaluating functional team data to create and report a consolidated overview of the project.
• Examining and analyzing data for traceability and recommending solutions addressing issues, risks, and avenues for continuous improvement.
• Investigating and advising all functional team managers on matters related to information systems and data management.
• Evaluating and reporting on the compatibility of formats to ensure seamless interfaces and integration among the various designated systems.
• Initiating and reporting on data quality checks and assurance reviews concerning data captured in project management systems.
• Assessing, advising, and improving the accuracy and availability of data from designated systems for data comparisons, data reconciliations, data modeling, and data enhancements.
• Identifying and recommending system integration and interfaces necessary for effective support of project requirements, providing business solutions to Group IT for technical investigation.
• Evaluating functional team data to formulate and report on a consolidated overview for the project.
• Examining and analyzing data for traceability, and recommending solutions to address issues, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Investigating and advising all functional team managers regarding information systems and data management issues.
• Evaluating and reporting on format compatibility to facilitate smooth interfaces and integration across various designated systems.
• Initiating and reporting on data quality assessments and assurance evaluations on data captured within project management systems.
