SENIOR INFORMATION SYSTEMS SECURITY ENGINEER (ISSE) - TS

Xcelerate Solutions is Senior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE). Be an integral part of a team in managing baseline information system security controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of FBI networks, systems, and data. This role contributes to secure information sharing between CJIS and its partners and requires personnel with demonstrated expertise in meeting Revised Section 508 Standards. A core focus of this program is maintaining and modernizing a comprehensive lifecycle security model that governs all CJIS Division information systems and services. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Active Top Secret Security Clearance
• 10 Years’ of experience
• Masters degree
• Experience and working knowledge of security for cloud technologies and services, specifically AWS and Microsoft AZURE; Expert level experience and knowledge of government security standards and industry best practices including the NIST RMF and NIST security and privacy controls. Experience conducting industry research to create detailed reports, whitepapers, and technical comparisons;
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cloud Cert preferred. Position Description: Demonstrated ability to brief diverse audiences on technical matters and convey information clearly and concisely; Deep sense of mission and commitment in support of national security.

• Working with agile development methodology specifically including Scaled-Agile Framework (SAFe), lean systems development, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodology
• Providing experience implementing, operating, and maintaining infrastructure and applications; Experience within diverse teams of architects, developers and integrators;
• Providing experience leading or co-leading technology projects with enterprise dependencies; and
• Developing, maintaining, and revising policies and guidelines relating to information security.
