Responsibilities

Provide hands-on break/fix support and diagnostics, as part of a larger Infrastructure Operations team, including the provisioning of new resources, managing after-hours maintenance to production hardware, as well as assisting in both performing penetration testing and with rapid remediation efforts of any findings, with a understood sense of urgency.
Performing server rack installations, hardware break-fix on various components, troubleshooting network issues, and responding to operational incidents that impact service availability, escalating to senior technicians and management as needed/required
Racking and stacking servers, installing software and OS on servers, and cabling
Manage Hyper-V and VMware environments, including implementation.
Handle server and workstation operating systems, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and patch management.
Perform system performance monitoring and optimization.
Provide disaster recovery, backup, and restore capabilities for systems and applications
