We’re building a world where Identity belongs to you. The Engineering Opportunity We are looking for an Infrastructure Operations Analyst to join the Infrastructure Platform Pillar. This organization owns the Okta Service Platform, which includes Security Engineering, Technical Operations, Shared Services, Data Platform and Customer Centric Engineering. Reporting directly into the Head of Infrastructure, you will work closely with Infrastructure leaders to define, measure and track key metrics and help inform the strategy to be more aligned, efficient and productive as an organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analyzing operational data, optimizing business processes and providing actionable insights to the leaders while working in a fast moving environment with a growing geographical footprint. What you’ll be doing Analyze operational data: Collect and interpret data from various internal and external sources to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement Identify process improvements: Assess current workflows and procedures to pinpoint bottlenecks and develop strategies for greater efficiency and productivity Develop reports and dashboards: Use data visualization tools to create and maintain reports and dashboards for senior management and other stakeholders. Support strategic decision-making: Provide data-driven recommendations to help leadership make informed decisions related to cost reduction, resource allocation, and compliance posture Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Program Management, QA and other Engineering stakeholders to understand various operational needs Monitor performance metrics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of operational changes and ensure alignment with business goals Help leadership prepare and present at key events like Org all-hands and customer meetings Identify any opportunities where technology can be applied for internal efficiency Qualifications Experience with an enterprise technology company supporting Engineering leaders as an operations analyst Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative field such as Statistics, along with at least three years of experience in an analytical role A technical background with understanding of Enterprise Software and SaaS technology is highly desirable and will give you an edge for this role Essential skills include proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools like macros in Google Sheets and Tableau, Jira tracking/dashboards and strong analytical and communication skills This role requires in-person onboarding and travel to our San Francisco, CA HQ office or our Chicago office during the first week of employment. #LI-Hybrid #LI-LSS1 The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $128,000—$192,000 USD Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
