PMUK is looking for an established Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join the Information Systems Department. The successful candidate will provide effective IT assistance across all aspects of the business and will provide back up and support to the IT management. The position is also responsible for supporting and maintaining the company Infrastructure Services plus general maintenance of all IT-related hardware/software.

Infrastructure Design & Management: Create and maintain architectural designs for IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, telephony, surveillance systems, networking, and cloud services.
Systems Management: Administer and maintain Windows and Linux server environments, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
Active Directory Management: Oversee user account management, group policies, and security permissions within Active Directory.
Hardware Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware issues for servers, workstations, and peripherals.
Group Policy Configuration: Implement and manage Group Policies to enforce security settings and configurations across the organization.
Architecture Governance: Establish and enforce architecture standards and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across all infrastructure projects in terms of external factors and internal global and regional requirements.
Virtualization (Hyper-V): Manage and maintain Hyper-V virtual environments, including the creation and management of virtual machines.
Performance Monitoring: Utilize monitoring tools to assess system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
PC Asset Lifecycle Management. Supplying and installation of hardware, software deployment and distribution.
Procurement: Provide service levels of investigation, quotations, procurement and installation of hardware and software solutions.
Patch Management: Implement patch management processes to keep systems updated and secure against vulnerabilities.
File System Management: Oversee file system configurations and permissions to ensure data security and accessibility.
Technology Evaluation: Assess and recommend new technologies and tools that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Remote Desktop Services: Manage and support Remote Desktop Services to facilitate secure remote access for users.
SQL Server Management: Support and maintain SQL Server databases, including performance tuning and backup strategies.
Capacity Planning: Monitor and analyze infrastructure usage and performance, making recommendations for upgrades or changes as necessary.
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including software development, operations, and security, to ensure infrastructure solutions meet business needs.
Backup and Recovery: Implement and oversee backup solutions, ensuring data integrity and availability.
Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
Cloud Integration: Assist with the integration of cloud services and solutions to enhance organizational capabilities.
Network Configuration: Configure and manage network settings, including routing and switching, firewall configuration, to ensure secure and efficient communication.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure designs, configurations, and processes for ISO9001 compliance.
Log Management: Monitor and analyze system logs for security incidents and performance issues.
Compliance / Information Security Management: Ensuring the required levels of security & regulatory compliance are maintained. Including adherence to company rules and notices. Implementing and maintaining ISO27001 accreditation.
License Management: Procurement, assignment of various licenses from application licenses to operating systems.
Service Desk: Provide efficient end user support and identify trends or issues that can be resolved more effectively and provide long term solutions to help end user experiences.
User Support: Provide technical guidance and support to IT teams and end-users regarding infrastructure-related issues.
