ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

• Degree in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science or Engineering).
• Minimum of 5-10 years IT experience or equivalent work experience in a relevant environment.
• Experienced in designing, integrating, and managing infrastructure solutions.
• Proven track record in producing communicating and documenting successful technical customer solutions.
• Have a very strong infrastructure architecture background, with a very good understanding how it impacts the other IT disciplines, security, applications etc.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Problem-solving and good analytical skillsShould possess good organizational skills, flexibility, and adaptability.

ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer leads Technology Platforms and Infrastructure Architecture on a project to meet business requirements through requirements analysis cross-team collaboration expertise support and project supervision.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Implements and monitors best practices for infrastructure architecture while providing expert advice on both solution and infrastructure initiatives.
• Designing infrastructure solutions for large or complex programs in accordance with business strategies, standards, and processes.
• Design/coordinate infrastructure solutions which may involve multiple parties both internally and externally including the selection of 3rd party vendors to meet customer requirements.
• Design/provision complex infrastructure solutions in the cloud and on premise to meet customer requirements.
• Deployment and provisioning of infrastructure solutions within data centers, or cloud environments
• Ensures infrastructure installations and upgrades are made in accordance with established policies procedures and software licensing agreements.
• Support account teams or competency centers during the pre-contract phases (qualification proposals and contract) with technical designs and advice.
• Ensure designs in compliance with Industry standards and architectural plans.
• Lead and coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) through design and subsequent implementation.
• Assess the viability and value of new technologies and patterns, working to ensure we align with the business’s technical aims for scalability and growth.
