Responsibilities  * Ensure approved materials are used, and correct methods and workmanships are adopted by WPC. * Ensure works are carried out as per the Construction Drawings for the correct dimensions, levels, locations etc. * Inspect WPC’s work in stages as per the date and time requested by WPC. * Witness testing of all materials and work done as per the date and time requested by WPC. * Taking note of the site instructions and any other relevant directives on the drawings used in the inspection, to ensure that they are taken into account. * Prepare a written list of any points that may require attention, in concurrence with the RE, where the WPC has requested the inspection. The COW is to check the points have been rectified or agreed to before the work is covered, as the case may be. * Inform WPC and ARE should WPC fail to comply with the Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements. Requirements  * Diploma/Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. * Minimum 7 years (s) proven working experience in construction site supervision, ideally in road and bridge projects.  * Certified Inspector of Works (registered under the Board of Engineers Malaysia). * Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and quality assurance processes. * Knowledge of Malaysian construction regulations and safety standards.
