  • The core activities for the post of Senior Instructor will be to enable the people we support realise their goals and achieve their identified priorities.
  • The successful candidate will provide support and act as an advocate for participation and inclusion in the Community on behalf of the person we support.
  • The successful candidate will furthermore operate within a framework of a person centred approach and will actively engage with and promote co-operation and partnership with other services, both internally and externally and in particular with families.
  • The successful candidate will be required to complete all relevant reports and training. They will incorporate and implement New Directions in line with National standards for day services. The Senior Instructor in this supervisory role, will provide physical support which may include personal care, providing emotional support for individuals and their families, supporting health care needs, teaching life skills whilst working with other healthcare providers to ensure that all care needs meet the highest possible standards.
