Senior Instructor (Research), Department of Community Health Sciences Entity: Medical College Location: Karachi, Pakistan Introduction: Aga Khan University's (AKU) Department of Community Health Sciences (CHS) is a preeminent public health institution in the country. This is a grant funded contractual position. Responsibilities: You will be responsible to: supervise and monitor project-related activities at the Civil Hospital Karachi ensure good data quality and accuracy coordinate at project sites within AKU to ensure proper administrative procedure for the data collection process and track loss to follow up implement and supervise project activities, assist in the data collection, monitoring, and training of field staff ensure study protocol is being followed while collecting data plan / organize project site visits maintain project records of correspondence and meetings provide on-site clinical guidance during participant interactions give advice/troubleshooting to ensure a smooth flow of the project activities at field sites prepare and compile study progress / final report working alongside the PI & CO-PI prepare presentations and present at various forums serve as a resource for faculty, trainees, and students within PRH assist in identifying and mobilising funding opportunities under guidance support collaboration within AKU departments and with external partners. Requirements: You should have: MBBS with a FCPS in Community Medicine or master’s degree in Epidemiology & Biostatistics/Public Health from an HEC recognized or reputable foreign university/institution at least two years of research and teaching experience with background in public health, population health, or reproductive health will be preferred. An additional six months clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology will be an advantage prior experience in clinical research, hospital-based studies, or public health research projects preferred demonstrated scholarship through research and/or publications preferred prior involvement in academic or research programmes desirable Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted.
