Are you an RYA Senior Instructor ready to lead others and deliver outstanding on the water experiences? If you are, join Buzz Active as a Senior Instructor and play a key role in delivering safe, high quality outdoor learning across East Sussex. As a Senior Instructor, you’ll take a lead role in the delivery of sailing and windsurfing activity, supporting instructors and maintaining high standards of safety, coaching and customer care. Based primarily at our Eastbourne seafront site, you’ll also work across Buzz Active’s wider programme, supporting delivery and mentoring staff as required. You’ll be trusted to lead sessions, oversee safe practice, and contribute to the smooth day to day running of a busy outdoor centre. This is a full season, contracted position for the period of 30 March until 1 November 2026. Full season contracts have the option of annualised pay over 12 months. We are looking for candidates who: Hold the RYA Senior Instructor qualification Training or experience of leading teams at an RYA affiliated centre Ability to work with individuals from a wide range of abilities and cultures. Are approachable and sensitive to the needs of others Are willing to share expertise, skills and knowledge with other instructors Additional qualifications in paddle sports or land based activities are extremely beneficial. Responsibilities
