Description
For an onshore project in France, we are seeking an experienced E&I engineer with solid knowledge of and background in French regulations. Broad expertise within the discipline is desirable, including a strong understanding of instrumentation design and engineering, as well as associated control systems. Language Requirements Both English and French is required. Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant engineering disciplines. Alternatively, a technical college degree combined with a minimum of 12 years of relevant engineering experience. Responsibilities Guide engineers within the discipline regarding specific requirements for materials and design solutions in accordance with French regulations. Conduct site surveys to establish optimal design solutions in collaboration with installation contractors and operations personnel. Prepare and deliver technical documentation in line with client requirements and specifications. Specify required materials and bulk items for installation packages. Collaborate with other disciplines within the project and with the client. Software Tools Required: MS Office Preferred: PIMS Additional Information Strong competence in French regulatory requirements within the discipline is essential. The work location is flexible and can be remote. However, travel to site in France should be expected. Start date: ASAP Duration: 1 year
