Job Responsibilities: We are seeking an experienced Senior Instrument Engineer with strong competence in instrument actuated valves—including anti‑surge control valves—to join a major greenfield offshore oil & gas project in the FEED and EPC phases. This is an opportunity to become part of a large, international project team where you will apply your expertise in field instrumentation, package engineering, and cross‑discipline coordination. Key responsibillities Design, coordination, and follow‑up of instrument valve packages and field instrumentation. Serve as Technical Responsible Engineer (PRE) for instrument valve packages. Act as Instrument Discipline Responsible Engineer (DRE) for mechanical equipment packages, working closely with Mechanical PRE for compressor packages. Oversee and evaluate vendor performance and vendor technical documentation. Ensure all required vendor information is identified, tracked, and communicated to maintain project progress. Participate in FATs, inspections, and vendor site surveys. Prepare, review, and finalize engineering documents and data registers. Coordinate interfaces with other engineering disciplines, suppliers, and stakeholders. Required Education: Education Bachelor degree or similar Required Work Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience from field instrumentation design/specification in greenfield offshore oil and gas. Minimum 4 years’ Experience with PRE activities for instrumentation valves packages. Extensive knowledge of field instrumenation design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO and IEC Required Qualifications: Efficient communicator, who communicate well in English - Both orally and in writing Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment Ability to work independently as well as in team Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others Required Certificates: FSE-kurs EX-kurs Work Location: Asker Planned start date: 02/03/2026 Planned end date: 31/12/2027
