We are seeking an experienced Senior Instrumentation Engineer to join a Brisbane-based team delivering a major new mining project.

Reporting to the I&C Lead Engineer, you’ll work across FEED, detailed design and execution support, taking ownership of instrumentation scopes across Greenfield and Brownfield environments.

The Role

• Deliver instrumentation engineering and design across the project lifecycle.
• Lead defined engineering scopes and coordinate project deliverables.
• Prepare and review datasheets, specifications, calculations, drawings and technical documentation.
• Undertake design reviews and technical verification.
• Support procurement, technical bid evaluations, construction and commissioning.
• Manage interfaces with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Ensure designs meet project, safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Support engineering estimates, schedules and budget tracking.
• Mentor and support engineers and designers where required.

About You

• Relevant Engineering degree with eligibility for Engineers Australia membership.
• Strong instrumentation engineering experience on major projects.
• Demonstrated Brownfield and/or Greenfield design experience.
• Mining or mineral processing experience highly regarded.
• Strong client, construction and multidisciplinary interface experience.
• Ability to lead scopes and work effectively within a collaborative project team.
• FSEng qualifications desirable but not essential.
