In this position you will manage all aspects of the insurance cycle and client servicing including client contact, technical expertise and administrative requirements. As an Senior Insurance Broker, your main duties and responsibilities will include: Meet and exceed service standards agreed while taking a pro-active approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients Work with your Account Manager to ensure client needs are identified and implement successful account retention and defence strategies Maintain an awareness of all large and potentially complicated claim related matters and assist claims personnel in the negotiation of equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients Lead, plan and implement clear and effective renewal and broking strategies, ensuring renewal performance meets client expectations Possess a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance which the Company offers to its clients and keep abreast of all new technical and product developments Develop and maintain meaningful working relationships with insurers, clients and colleagues through regular contact and liaison. Assist and contribute to the Team revenue generation, growth and other opportunities. What you need to have: At least 10 years insurance broking experience at a similar level or academic qualification will be an advantage. Hands-on individual who can work well under pressure and prepared to work long hours to meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Confidence in using Microsoft Office suite Willingness to work towards qualifications aligned with new competency requirements for financial advisors Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Driver's License What makes you stand out: Qualifications in Business Management and/or Accounting and/or Economics Demonstrated commitment to driving the best outcomes for commercial clients and colleagues Relevant Broking qualifications and related studies are desired.
