Working Location: Kai Tak office Employment Duration: Permanent/2-Year Contract (For internal application, only short-term employment contract’s terms and condition will be offered for 2-Year Contract position regardless of job applicant’s current job category)   We are now looking for a high calibre professional to join our Insurance & Claims team of CLP Power Hong Kong Limited.   Responsibilities * Implement the company’s insurance strategies and policies, designing appropriate solutions to achieve cost effective insurance programs for CLP Group’s assets * Act independently to address the diverse insurance needs of internal clients and stakeholders, in line with the company’s retained risk profile for each business unit * Collaborate with insurance consultants and brokers on risk and liability assessments, contractual risk analysis, and related insurance requirements * Conduct policy vetting of insurance documents within delegated authority, applying in depth insurance knowledge to ensure proper asset and liability protection for internal clients, and confirming that purchased products meet the insurance needs of the business units * Analyze and review insurance contract provisions for internal clients and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with company insurance policies * Support the formation of company insurance strategies and guidelines   Requirements * Bachelor’s degree or above in insurance, engineering, or a related discipline is an advantage * Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, Senior Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, or equivalent qualification preferred * Minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience in corporate or industrial insurance, including at least 2 years in insurance broking or underwriting * Proactive, independent, and detail-oriented, with the ability to perform in a professional manner * Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work effectively as a team player * Familiarity with the latest insurance market practices and local insurance requirements in Hong Kong and mainland China is an advantage * Strong presentation skills with proficiency in preparing presentation materials * Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage ABOUT CLP CLP was founded in Hong Kong in 1901, at a time when electricity was still a novelty worldwide.
