Job description
We are seeking a Senior Insurance Specialist to lead and support insurance operations, risk management, and process optimization initiatives. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and overseeing insurance products, policies, and compliance activities. This role requires strong industry knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across business, operations, and regulatory functions.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze, design, and manage insurance products and policies.
Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
Collaborate with underwriting, claims, actuarial, and operations teams to optimize processes.
Review and enhance operational procedures to improve efficiency and customer experience.
Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management.
Lead or support insurance-related projects such as product launches, system implementations, or audits.
Mentor junior insurance professionals and promote best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Actuarial Science, Risk Management, or related field.
10+ years of experience
Proven experience in insurance operations, underwriting, claims, or risk management.
Strong knowledge of insurance products, policies, regulations, and industry standards.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency with insurance management systems, MS Office, and reporting tools.
Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to handle complex projects and cross-functional initiatives.
