We are seeking an experienced Senior Integration Engineer or System Admin to join our Engineering Product Team. This is an opportunity to shape the future of End to End Testing in our Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and system integrations with us. Your focus will be on the integration of our systems to give confidence and rhythm to End to End delivery for the banks strategy while helping develop testing approaches and automation frameworks to support the bank deliver smarter Our teams support the banks initiatives which all rely on integrated environments to ensure quality and assurance. In this role, you will collaborate on projects that underpin the bank’s strategic delivery, fostering confidence and consistency across our processes. You’ll contribute to the development of innovative testing approaches and automation frameworks, empowering the bank to deliver smarter solutions. Success in this role means maintaining a reliable end-to-end test environment and strengthening automation practices that improve speed, coverage, and confidence in delivery. The successful candidate will manage comprehensive test environments, build robust test frameworks, ensure seamless integration testing across systems, and become a trusted partner driving quality and continuous improvement across the delivery lifecycle. What technical skills are beneficial for this role? We work across wide tech stack. We're looking someone with a mix of the following: Automation and Scripting Configuration and deploying APIs (Springboot, .NET, Mule) Pipelines – Jenkins, Spinnaker Proxies & Gateways – Kong, F5 Containers – OpenShift, EKS Load balancers – HA Proxy, F5 Queues and event streaming – Kafka, MQ Monitoring – Splunk, Dynatrace and others Source Code Management with Git and GitOps Understanding of security (i.e. secret management, vulnerability scanning, certification management, TLS/SSL, etc) Bonus of any expertise in Kafka or Mainframe but not required What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role?
