Responsibilities

We’re hiring a part-time Senior Integration Engineer to lead the design, development, and enhancement of data integration solutions, ensuring secure and efficient exchange of information across UTS’s complex systems.

This role will give you the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integration solutions that align with the university’s strategic goals. You will leverage your technical expertise to provide mentorship to junior engineers, handle complex integration programs, and ensure data accuracy, security, and real-time synchronization between diverse systems. As the Senior Integration Engineer, you will have:

  • Demonstrated technical delivery experience using capabilities such as Boomi AtomSphere (5+ years), AWS data streaming, APIs, and microservices – MUST HAVE
  • Proven ability to lead integration programs and mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions and communicating complex ideas clearly.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving integration-related issues, ensuring data accuracy and optimal system performance.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies to efficiently execute integration projects and continuously improve processes.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and data privacy regulations, with experience implementing secure integration solutions.
  • Ability to align integration solutions with the university’s long-term goals, ensuring that integration efforts support UTS’s broader mission.
