ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an Integration Specialist to join our People Technology team and help build the next generation of our HR technology landscape. This role will support the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of integrations between Workday and a range of internal and external systems, using both native Workday tools and MuleSoft.
As part of our journey toward an API-led architecture, you’ll contribute to creating scalable and maintainable integration solutions that support our global people tech ecosystem.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Design, build, and support integrations in Workday using EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and Workday Web Services (WWS).
  • Develop and manage integration flows on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform to support secure, real-time and batch-based data exchange between Workday and other platforms.
  • Own the full lifecycle of Workday HR integrations – from gathering and analyzing business requirements, contributing to RFP processes, and defining integration strategy, through to solution design, development oversight, testing, deployment, and transition to BAU.
  • Act as the single point of accountability for integration projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality outcomes, and alignment with business objectives while coordinating across HR, IT, and external vendors.
  • Champion integration governance and standards, proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement and ensuring solutions remain scalable, secure, and maintainable in the BAU environment.
  • Support larger Workday projects and releases by ensuring integration compatibility and stability.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement and documentation of our integration landscape in line with API-led principles; monitor and troubleshoot integration errors and work with relevant teams to resolve issues and improve performance.
