About the Role We’re seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to play a key role in designing, building and evolving BDO’s enterprise integration platform. Sitting within our Shared Services Technology function, you’ll lead the delivery of secure, reliable and observable integrations across legacy systems, SaaS platforms and BDO’s Modern Data & Analytics Platform (MDAP). This role combines hands‑on engineering with technical leadership—mentoring Integration Engineers, contributing to enterprise standards, and partnering closely with data, cloud, BI, security and governance teams to enable scalable, API‑first and event‑driven solutions. About the Team Our Integrations team is responsible for connecting critical systems across the firm using modern Azure‑native patterns. We focus on reuse, quality and governance, working collaboratively across Technology to reduce complexity, retire legacy point‑to‑point interfaces and build platforms that support BDO’s long‑term digital strategy. Key Responsibilities Design, build and maintain integrations using Azure Integration Services Apply API‑first and event‑driven principles, including contract‑first design and robust error handling Develop integrations for SaaS and enterprise platforms such as Workday and Dynamics 365 Contribute to and evolve integration standards, patterns and reusable components Implement logging, metrics, tracing and correlation to ensure strong observability and supportability Collaborate with Data Platform, BI, Cloud Engineering, Cloud Operations and Governance teams Provide technical mentoring, conduct design and code reviews, and act as an escalation point Qualifications, Experience and Skills Tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience Significant experience designing and delivering Azure‑native integrations in enterprise environments Deep expertise in API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid and Azure Functions Strong understanding of security, identity and data governance in integration solutions Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and work collaboratively across teams Why BDO?
