Senior Integrity Investigator, Ongoing opportunities based in Sydney CBD + hybrid/flexible working options available We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Integrity Investigators to join our Governance, Risk and Assurance division. This role is critical in leading and managing complex and sensitive investigations into serious wrongdoing, ensuring integrity and compliance across the Department. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to upholding standards and strengthening public trust. Ongoing Grade 9/10 opportunities (two positions available) Salary range: $129,464 - $142,665 + super, commensurate with experience. Sydney CBD based, however, flexible hybrid and remote working opportunities available for consideration. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage investigations into serious misconduct, identifying breaches of policy, procedure, legislation, and law. Develop investigative plans and oversee strategies to achieve investigation objectives. Prepare comprehensive reports, submissions, and recommendations to inform decision-making. Conduct interviews and initiate inquiries independently, ensuring investigative obligations are met. Supervise referrals to law enforcement and integrity agencies to support enforcement actions. Build strong stakeholder relationships to implement compliance strategies and minimise regulatory risks. Identify and drive process improvements to enhance compliance systems and efficiency. Key Challenges Managing sensitive and complex matters in a fast-paced, confidential environment. Ensuring accuracy and completeness of information under tight timeframes. Maintain contemporary knowledge of investigative methodologies and tools. Foster collaboration and education across the Department to ensure consistent application of policies and processes. About You Demonstrated experience in integrity investigations or related fields, with a strong understanding of integrity frameworks and compliance obligations. Strong knowledge of the Public Interest Disclosures Act 2022 and experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs. Ability to analyse complex regulatory information and assess organisational impact, such as the NSW ICAC, NSW Audit Office and the NSW Ombudsman and their associated legislative engagements with DCS. Essential Requirements Significant experience in investigative or compliance roles focused on serious wrongdoing. Demonstrated ability to manage complex investigations and apply rules of evidence.
