JOB DESCRIPTION

AECOM is seeking a Senior Interdisciplinary Project Coordinator for its dynamic and rapidly growing Transportation sector. As a Senior Transportation Architectural Task Leader at AECOM, you will be a key influencer in driving the delivery of our infrastructure project in the Transit and Rail, Marine, Aviation and Highway Bridge sectors.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Working closely with the Transportation practice design leadership, you’ll lead projects, championing creative solutions that align with project schedules and provide direction to the engineering teams and coordinates all the trades with a commitment to quality, innovation and sustainability. Your leadership and acumen will shape projects that resonate with clients, inspire our teams, and leave a lasting positive impact.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS in Architecture or related field +6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Professional experience using Open Building Designer, AutoCAD, REVIT and Microsoft office
  • Able to work with minimal supervision. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10 years of relevant professional experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Registered Architect
  • Ability to present and interact directly with clients
  • Good knowledge and application of building codes and industry standards
  • Good knowledge and ability to create 3D models using the Bentley/ Microstation platform.
Responsibilities
  • Creating 3D renderings, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings and working drawings
  • Preparing contract drawings during all design phases
  • Will coordinate and collaborate in activities with employees in other disciplines and departments, internally and externally
  • Prepare designs, renderings, sketches, diagrams, schematics, and working drawings to illustrate design solutions
  • Develop and document details to communicate design intent
