Description

£ COMPETITIVE | HYBRID WORKING & INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS

Are you ready to take creative ownership of high-value, one-of-a-kind homes for some of the most discerning clients in the world?
Modus Careers is recruiting on behalf of a globally recognised, design-led studio celebrated for delivering imaginative, layered, and highly personal interiors. With a growing portfolio of exceptional properties across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the US, they are seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead complex, high-end residential projects from concept to completion.
This is an outstanding opportunity to step into a pivotal role within a fast-growing practice, working directly alongside the Founder to shape both the creative and operational success of world-class interiors.

Responsibilities

WHY THIS ROLE STANDS OUT

  • Global Creative Reach – Lead prestigious projects in some of the most extraordinary locations worldwide, with regular international exposure.
  • Creative Autonomy – Direct the design process while collaborating closely with a celebrated design figure in the industry.
  • Genuine Flexibility – Enjoy a hybrid setup (3 days in a beautifully curated Berkshire studio, 2 days WFH) with trust in output over hours.
  • Impact and Growth – Become a key figure in a growing studio with the potential to step into a senior leadership role.
  • A Studio That Inspires – Non-corporate, design-obsessed, and rooted in collaboration and excellence.

THE ROLE

  • Lead 2–3 prime residential projects at a time, managing every stage from initial brief to final installation.
  • Act as the primary contact for high-profile clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Design and oversee the production of bespoke joinery, lighting, and furniture, with an exceptional eye for materiality and detail.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement, and complex global logistics.
  • Bring fresh ideas, supplier connections, and creative energy to elevate each project.
