Responsibilities We’re hiring a Senior Interior Designer for our Houston, Texas office. The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter who’s comfortable working on multiple projects at once. Previous experience in Civic, Community, Culture market sector preferred; prior design in other sectors, such as Commercial Mixed Use, Aviation, and/or Academic appreciated, but not required. The designer should thrive in a collaborative team environment with technically sophisticated and design-focused projects; clear communication skills are essential. Other responsibilities include: Interior design from project inception through construction. Selection of materials, lighting, and fixtures; prior experience with furniture specification appreciated. Coordination across design teams including architects; engineers and consultants; product representatives; furniture dealers and custom fabricators; and more. Project documentation via client presentations, renderings, CD sets, detail drawings, specifications and finish binders, as well as timely and thorough responses during CA. Qualifications Interior Design degree from an accredited university 8-10 years of relevant design experience and NCIDQ certification Proficient in Revit and Enscape; Rhino is a plus Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop and InDesign); prior experience with other visualization tools beneficial Ability to think analytically and solve problems independently #LI-JK1
