Part of the Global Internal Audit team, the Senior Internal Auditor is a trusted business advisor responsible for leading operational audit engagements and performing and overseeing financial internal control audits. Circle K Business Centre is looking for a new colleague to join our team as: Senior Internal Auditor Type of Employment: Permanent Location: Circle K Business Centre, Riga, Latvia Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided) What You’ll Be Doing As a Senior Internal Auditor, you’ll play a key role in strengthening our internal controls and driving operational excellence. You’ll lead audit engagements, evaluate financial processes, and collaborate with teams across the business to identify opportunities for improvement. Your day-to-day will include: Leading and executing audits (e.g., operational audits, ICFR reviews, investigations). Evaluating internal controls and ensuring compliance with audit standards. Identifying process improvements that add value and reduce risk. Acting as a trusted advisor to management on internal controls and risk management. Preparing clear, concise audit reports and following up on action plans. Contributing to the continuous improvement of our audit methodology. What You’ll Bring We’re looking for someone who is analytical, collaborative, and passionate about making a difference. Here’s what we’d love to see: A degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance. CIA or ACCA designation (or working toward one). 5+ years of audit experience. Experience in performing and overseeing internal key controls testing and compliance requirements (including knowledge of the COSO Framework). Experience leading audits and supervising team members. Excellent communication and writing, time management, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications. What’s In It for You?
