• Check for revenue leakage — ensure all unit sales, collections, discounts, and cancellations are properly recorded and authorized.
• Audit broker commissions and referral payments to ensure they match approved agreements and are not inflated.
• Review the approval process for all major decisions — ensure no payments, contracts, or discounts are made without proper authority.
• Audit construction spending — verify contractors are paid only for work actually completed, at agreed prices, with proper approvals.
• Review contractor selection and tendering — ensure the process is fair, transparent, and free from conflict of interest.
