At the University of Otago, we’re offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Internal Auditor to join our small, high-performing team. Reporting to the Head of Risk, Assurance and Compliance, you’ll deliver independent, high-quality internal audit and advisory services that provide assurance to senior leadership and governance committees on the effectiveness of the University’s risk management, internal control, and governance systems. This is a role where no two days are the same, you’ll work across a wide range of topics - from academic departments to research centres and operational units - identifying opportunities to enhance performance, ensure compliance, and support continuous improvement. We’re open to flexible arrangements (e.g. 0.8 FTE, hybrid location) for the right candidate. The salary appointment range for this role is $101,739 to $110,396 per annum. Top of the range is $119,053. Along with a competitive salary, we offer a 6.75%25 superannuation scheme and encourage a positive work/life balance.
