Position Summary:
Senior Inventory Analyst is the primary function responsible for reviewing that KBI’s system of record accurately reflects transactions to facilitate the movement of materials within the North Carolina sites. In conjunction with the Warehouse Supervisor, this role is also responsible for the accurate transactions of material disposition within assigned scope, and the removal of rejected/expired materials. This role will lead and provide work direction to inventory analysts meet cycle regulatory inventory keeping requirements. This role will also support ASCTrac as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and manage item creation as well as other master data requirements. Responsible for Quality Management systems impacted by Inventory control including SOP revision, deviation investigation, and CAPA completion, and any additional Duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy above 98% on all Raw Materials/ Procured inventory in North Carolina Sites (Patriot Park, Hamlin Rd. Venture Center). This includes supervising the inventory control processes (cycle counting, investigations, reconciliations, etc.) and supporting the root cause analysis of discrepancies.
  • As an SME of Inventory Management and Control, provides cross-functional support to other departments (Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, etc.) in communicating and delivering business-critical processes.
  • Supervises and develops day to day inventory management and control functions of inventory analysts.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of Inventory control related KPIs
  • Act as back-up in the absence of Warehouse Supervisor.

Experience:
2-6 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech GMP materials management experience required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is ideal.
