SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in finance-related field.
  • CFA Charterholder or engaged in the CFA program.
  • Financial experience Private Banking with investment bias.
  • In-depth knowledge of the product and services, associated charges / fees, legal provisions, delivery process, equity and bond market, unit trusts and other personal investment services.
  • Solid understanding of the bedrock financial theory.
  • Understand procedures for Securities Dealing & Forex trades, via Treasury dealers (within delegations).
  • Proficient in Arabic language
Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist investment advice and support services to Senior Relationship Managers and Ultra High Net Worth advisory clients covering single names (equity, fixed income, and FX/commodities) in addition to funds, real estate, structured solutions, direct investments and derivatives, and discretionary mandate.
  • Identify cross selling opportunities between departments and executing them.
  • Assist Relationship Managers in attracting new asset under management, understanding new products and identification of potential investment clients.
  • Verify advisory and discretionary trades are properly executed and reflected in Advent system.
  • Assess and evaluate client risk profiles on an ongoing basis.
  • Identify appropriate products from the range of available solutions.
  • Construct client investment portfolios based on risk profile, available products, and prevailing asset allocation models.
  • Regularly report on performance of client investment profile.
  • Review and rebalance client risk profiles on an ongoing basis and discuss proposed changes with clients and relationship.
  • In conjunction with Chief Investment Office, prepare and discuss investment account reviews.
  • Analyze positions, asset allocation, suitability and propose investment switches or new ideas.
  • Participate in hiring Investment Advisors (identifying profiles, interviews).
  • Ensure continuous professional (hard and soft skill) development of team members.
