Job Description We’re looking for a driven, collaborative Senior Investment Analyst to join our Funding & Derivative Management team within ALM. You’ll play a key role in enhancing our investment processes, supporting derivative and funding activities, and helping us deliver robust, data‑driven portfolio insights. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, quantitative analytics, and working closely with supportive colleagues across functions. What you'll be doing: Developing tools that integrate sovereign and macroeconomic analysis into portfolio construction Designing and building analytical models using quantitative and structured‑product techniques Creating and refining solutions for derivatives pricing, optimisation, and risk analysis Maintaining and enhancing portfolio monitoring tools and reporting frameworks Contributing to macro market analysis through data gathering and quantitative assessments Providing operational and analytical support across daily processes and workflow demands Embedding Conduct Risk principles into day‑to‑day work to support positive customer outcomes Supporting Consumer Duty by ensuring processes and controls are aligned with good customer outcomes Qualifications Who we're looking for: Degree‑level qualification in Physics, Mathematics, or another quantitative discipline Strong understanding of fixed income mathematics, derivatives, and cash‑flow mechanics Proficiency in Excel/VBA and Python, with experience building analytical tools Solid grasp of statistics and quantitative techniques applied to large datasets Motivated interest in financial markets, including funding, sovereign assets, and derivatives Experience in banking, investment, or analytics within rates, credit, or fixed‑income environments Proven analytical and problem‑solving ability, with a structured approach to delivering solutions A collaborative team player with strong communication skills and the ability to work well across teams Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
