ABOUT OUR CLIENT

We are working with a highly successful private equity firm, active in the DACH region and increasingly Europe-wide. They invest in fast growing companies, exclusively Healthcare, particularly in the MedTech and Pharma Services sectors, across DACH, Nordics and BeNeLux.
They are now looking to hire an additional senior investment professional into their team, to strengthen the long-term leadership of the firm and to lead the management of new investments from start to finish.

The firm’s strong performance is based on deep sector knowledge and a strong collaborative team culture. What the job involves

• Sourcing and evaluation of investment opportunities in alignment with the firm’s healthcare investment strategy
• Manage entire due diligence process through to investment committee presentation
• Lead value creation work with portfolio companies, working closely with their management teams to drive growth, operational improvements and build towards exits
• Play a leadership role within the firm itself, with input on strategy, future fundraising, team development and more

Who we are looking for

• Background in private equity or similar specialist investment structure
• Demonstrated knowledge of and network in the healthcare sector, especially MedTech and Pharma Services.
• Proven track record of sourcing, executing, and managing successful private equity investments in the healthcare space
• Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on attitude
• A down-to-earth person with exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Strong academic background in business, economics, science, engineering, or medicine; MBA or advanced degree is an advantage
• Native-level German and fluent English are required (both spoken and written); additional European languages are a plus
