And this is where your ride starts… YOUR MISSION We are hiring for multiple teams at Glovo, with diverse scopes, User Acquisition Flow, Courier Fraud mitigation, Order Dispatching system, payments, etc. We are looking for someone that raises the bar in the team, leading initiatives, being a technical reference for other engineers and mentoring them THE JOURNEY Be a part of a cross-functional team working closely with backend and frontend engineers Develop software using modern engineering approaches and agile principles Make our technology and our team scale as the business grows Own your deliverables from start to finish Deliver high-quality solutions Participate in the team’s life and contribute to decision-making Mentor and empower other developers around you WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE Computer Science or similar degree 6+ years of relevant full-time experience Strong Swift skills and working with XCode Deep knowledge of iOS SDK Understanding of reactive programming Deep understanding of AutoLayout and ability to create UI from code Extensive knowledge of object-oriented programming and software architecture Ability to write good unit tests is a must Analytical and problem-solving skills Vivid interest in at least one area outside of coding (architecture, algorithms, optimization, automation, scalability, etc.) Fluid communication in English [Nice-to-have] Experience with Full stack technologies (Java/Kotlin) [Nice-to-have] Participation in open source projects [Nice-to-have] Basic knowledge of O11y (DataDog, Grafana), Crash reporting on iOS Even if it seems you don't meet our musts don't let it stop you, we are all about finding the best talent out there!
