SKILLS

  • A degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
  • At least 3–5 years of professional iOS development experience (Swift, UIKit, Xcode).
  • Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs or GraphQL and backend integration.
  • Familiarity with Core Data and connectivity to Microsoft services such as SharePoint, OneDrive and Active Directory.
  • A keen understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and mobile best practices.
  • Independent, structured working style, strong self-motivation and clear, team-oriented communication.
  • Very good spoken and written German and English.
  • Deep experience using Scrum methodology.
  • Advantageous: experience building apps for professional users in safety-critical domains.

Responsibilities

You will design, develop and maintain a user-friendly iOS application that serves as a digital pilot handbook, implementing features such as online/offline access, interactive search and intuitive navigation.

Day to day, you will:

  • Integrate private-cloud services to enable seamless content synchronisation.
  • Collaborate with in-house aviation experts to understand and implement domain-specific requirements.
  • Guarantee code quality, performance, stability and security, and support ongoing testing efforts.
  • Work closely with designers to create an engaging, Apple-compliant user experience.
  • Contribute to cross-functional Scrum teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
