Description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DECISION OWNERSHIP:

  • Develop close strategic partnerships with named accounts, incl. lead contract negotiations
  • Lead the internal senior stakeholder management across Sales, Commercial, Marketing, Product Management, Technology, Legal, Service & Support, Regulatory and Partner Markets and be a central escalation point internally and externally with partners
  • Co-Develop with the regional IoT Sales and pre-sales team to develop & execute the IoT Global Expansion strategy for the MIDDLE EAST
  • Drive Opportunity Management of Vodafone customers that want to deploy IoT services into countries of strategic importance for Vodafone IoT.
  • Develop & implement Commercial and Operating Models and ensure subsequent revenue growth

CORE COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with leading international, cross-functional teams in a B2B environment
  • Strong history of successful sales of complex solutions (hardware, software, services) to telecommunication operators, e.g. in wholesale or carrier sales.
  • Ability to prioritize and optimize, balancing strategic objectives and tactical goals in order to achieve targets
  • Contract negotiations in complex environments and high-value deals with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills – ability to balance conflicting interests

MUST-HAVE TECHNICAL / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA / BSc degree or MBA / MSc
  • Comfortable in corporate / multinational B2B business including networking, influencing and persuading internal and external teams and stakeholders
  • Experience of presenting and negotiating at C level
  • Strong English negotiation skills
  • A self-starter with determination to succeed, balanced with the appropriate tact and diplomacy needed to operate in a challenging cultural environment
  • 10-15 years experience in B2B or Carrier-to-Carrier environment.

Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE:

  • To establish and manage partnerships primarily with Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) in the MIDDLE EAST, to enable the expansion and growth of Vodafone IoT.
  • To drive new revenues with existing and new partners by agreeing and implementing a joint Go-To-Market & partner strategy and integrated sales operating model to jointly execute successful sales initiatives.
  • To evolve the commercial and trading model with partners in markets of strategic importance so that the IoT end-to-end proposition for our Vodafone IoT customers is best-in-class.
