JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Industrial Relations & HR Executive to manage union relations, disciplinary matters, and employee performance. This role requires strong communication skills, legal knowledge, and the ability to foster a positive work environment while ensuring compliance with labor laws.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma/Degree in HR, Business Admin, Law, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of Employment & Industrial Relations Acts, union handling,

negotiation & communication skills.

  • Proficient in Malay & English.
  • Valid driving license.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month

Responsibilities
  1. Prepare data for collective agreements and cost impact analysis for Union
    negotiations.
  2. Maintain good relations with Union committees for a harmonious workplace.
  3. Alert management on potential Union issues for proactive action.
  4. Handle disciplinary and performance issues per legal and fairness principles.
  5. Manage poor performance cases and implement Performance Improvement
    Plans (PIP).
  6. Address employee grievances.
  7. Investigate disciplinary cases and conduct domestic inquiries if needed.
  8. Liaise with Labor & Industrial Relations authorities.
  9. Organize bi-monthly Union meetings at MM & AG plants.
    10.Monitor all leave types and medical leave rates, ensuring clinic efficiency.
  10. Prepare monthly attendance and disciplinary reports.
    12.Handle issues with labor authorities (JTK & JPP) and attend reconciliation
    sessions.
    13.Assist department managers in implementing HR policies and procedures.
    14.Work with company-appointed lawyers on Industrial Relations (IR) court
    cases.
    15.Represent the company and maintain good relations with relevant authorities.
