OUR ORGANIZATION

Working in our wholly owned Canadian subsidiary facility in Innovation Park, London Ontario, Symbio Companies is seeking a Senior IT Advisor to assist HR in staffing out our IT positions.

POSITION SUMMARY

Symbio has several manufacturing plants in the Southwestern Ontario area.
We are looking for a Senior IT that can assist Human Resources in the recruitment and hiring of;
Level 1 Desktop support technicians ( 4 positions )
Senior Network Administrators ( 2 positions )
Custom Software Development ( 4 positions )
Software Organization – custom software storage, cataloguing and documentation.
You are a senior level IT professional that has the ability to seek out and evaluate the best candidates that we need to onboard for our IT Team.
We are looking a public markets offering of 1 or 2 of our subsidiaries so we need our extension collection of custom software stored, organized, catalogued and documented. You will need to have ad experience in organizing software development teams in the past.
We need to bolster our Level 1 desktop support crew. You understand the role of Desktop support so you need to recruit and onboard these team members.
IT Support Technician Level 1 role is to ensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user help requests and escalating incidents when considered appropriate and necessary.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Recruiter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for IT positions, ensuring we attract and hire top talent to meet our organizational needs. You will leverage your expertise in talent acquisition and HR sourcing to identify, engage, and evaluate candidates while collaborating closely with hiring managers to understand their specific requirements.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition with a focus on IT recruiting.
  • Strong knowledge of HR sourcing techniques and tools.
  • Proficiency in using HRIS systems such as ADP and Workday for recruitment purposes.
  • Excellent interviewing skills with the ability to assess both technical capabilities and cultural fit.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems like Lever is a plus.
  • Strong research skills to identify potential candidates through various channels.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with candidates and hiring teams.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, study and interpret complex data.
  • Ability to manage and perform multiple complex tasks as part of the daily work assignment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate process changes and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relevant certification in business process management or a related field.
  • Experience in project management and change management.
